Contains the following types of materials: photographs, long rolled photographs. Covers the following war: World War I (WWI). Contains photographs of the following military units: 27th Infantry Regiment; 15th Infantry Regiment; 7th Training Regiment. General description of the collection: The Norman Farrell photograph collection consists of photos from the early career of Farrell from 1903 to ca. 1912, including a group of officers of the 15th Infantry Regiment. There are two long rolled photos of Company C, 7th Training Regiment at Plattsburg, New York in 1916; two long rolled photos of the cantonment and trenches for training at Fort Snelling, Minnesota in 1917; three photos show a parade of units of the California National Guard in the early 1920s; a photo of officers at Fort Benning, Georgia, in 1923; two photos of Fort George Wright, Spokane, Washington in 1936; and a photo of General Bishop and staff at Fort Omaha, Nebraska, in 1939.
